Red Hot Cider made with Red Hots candy

It doesn't get very cold in Houston, Texas during the winter but when we want it to start feeling like fall and winter we bring out the comfort food and drinks.  Every year my family has Red Hot Cider for Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.  I happened to have the ingredients in the kitchen so I decided to make some for the family and co-workers.

This recipe has two ingredients.  Red Hots Cinnamon and Apple Cider.  Use 1/4 for each quart of cider (that's one cup for a gallon of cider).  In a large pot add the cider and mix in the red hots and heat until the red hots are melted.

By the way... a 7.25 package of red hots is equivalent to one cup.

Enjoy!
