My husband Steve, is CRAZY about his two dachshunds. Steve and I married four years ago and along with him I got Nicole, his daughter, and Peanut, his dachshund. About two years later a friend of a friend was fighting cancer and couldn't keep Patches so we took him in to be a little buddy to Peanut.
